The direct inversion installation of CIPP is specified in ASTM F1216 and the techniques recommended and utilized by Inliner Technologies are designed to meet and/or exceed the requirements of this standard practice.
Initially the resin saturated tube is turned inside out and attached to a top ring or pulled through a column. Water or air is then added to the tube to create static pressure and force the tube to continue to invert through the complete length of the pipe.
The static pressure is also used to hold the tube tightly against the host pipe.
